Vujaday Music Festival: 6 unique venues on the exotic island of Barbados 

Taking festivals to a whole new tropical level, Vujaday is packed with serenity, high vibes, and friendly locals. Placing anything on a Caribbean island will make it look gorgeous and if you mix awesome music with perfectly white sandy beaches you have, what can only be, an amazing musical adventure. Aside from witnessing the daytime DJ sets you can head off for a few hours on a boat trip around the island or pick up a board and try a bit of surfing. Some of the venues for Vujaday boasts large pools where you can groove to the resident DJs whilst cooling off in the water.

Partying continues well into the night where the tunes get a little heavier and people are a little merrier. Some of the acts for the next event have already been announced and include Atish, Bedouin, Behrouz, Cassy, Danny Howells, Darren Emerson, and many more being released soon. House music is very up and coming in Barbados and the locals are so far, loving what they are hearing. Vujaday works hard to incorporate local culture into the festival by creating a new base for house music.

Vujaday Music Festival Dates and Location

The Vujaday Festival runs for 5 days and starts on the 3^rd of April 2019 and finishes on the 7^th of April 2019.

The venue for the festival is split between 6 different locations within Barbados. These include Pirates Cove, Copacabana, Bellevue Plantation, Cornwall House, The Tiki Bar, and Nikki Beach Barbados. The locations offer a mix of water sports, tropical beach bars, grand houses, beach parties, and refreshing pools. A full festival schedule will become available soon. 

Vujaday Music Festival Tickets

Starting prices for Vujaday Festival are $198. This includes access to all festival locations, discounted partner hotel rates, and taxes. VIP tickets start at $395 including taxes. Ticket prices increase as the festival nears so buying early will give you the biggest discount. Shuttle bus passes cost around $90. All tickets will grant you a discount for a majority of excursions on the island so make sure you keep them with you. 

How to get to Vujaday

As Barbados is a highly visited island, there are many regular flights from most major airports. Transfers from the airport to the hotel in which you are staying at can usually be arranged during the booking process.

There will be a festival shuttle bus service for those with a shuttle pass that will run throughout the full 5 days of the event. The bus will do hotel pick ups and drop offs from partner hotels with a timetable being released at a later date. Transportation to all festival locations is included. If you stay in a hotel that is not a Vujaday partner hotel then you will need to arrange your own transport to and from the festival sites.

Where to stay for Vujaday Music Festival

Vujaday’s partner hotels will be released to those on their mailing list or those purchasing tickets, where you will then be able to get a much better rate. Of course, there are other options available on the island of Barbados. Luxurious hotels and self-catered apartments flood most of the island and offer pool access, onsite facilities including spas and gyms, and a range of bars and restaurants.

There are several beachfront options which tend to be much higher in price but for slightly cheaper accommodation there are resorts located inland with just as many lavish features.

Things to do in Barbados

A trip to Barbados would not be complete without exploring the tranquil waters of the Caribbean Sea. Snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, wakeboarding, diving, and canoeing are just some of the water activities available on the island.

Boat trips run throughout the day and evening providing cocktails, snacks, and a sunset view like no other. There are several caves on the island that you can explore along with many museums and tropical gardens. Beautiful scenery and the friendly locals are what makes Barbados many peoples idea of paradise.
