The annual event celebrates graffiti and street artists by transforming the streets and alleys into open-air galleries.

Founded by Denver graffiti artist Robin Munro, CRUSH has grown to become the largest independent graffiti and street art project and event in Colorado. Expanding to include over 100 murals across 10 city blocks in 2016, the event has grown to become a testament to the dedication of the artists and community. Today, artists ranging from local talent to the International scale, regularly showcase their passion and work to the CRUSH walls. Previous artists have included Anna Charney, B1N4RY, Birdseed Collective, Chris Kreig, Rumtum and more.
Crush Walls takes place in the River North (RiNo) Art District in North Denver, Colorado.
Getting around Denver is easy and convent with Denver’s public transport system. The nearest major airport is Denver International Airport, located approximately 30 minutes east of the city centre. Visitors can travel between the airport and the city centre via the Airport Rail, which takes approximately 37 minutes and costs $10.50 each way.
Visitors can easily travel around the city of Denver without a car, as there are a range of public transport options available. The Regional Transport District (RTD) offers local buses that operate throughout the city. Light rail Is also available, which travels along almost 35 miles from the suburbs to the city, stopping at 36 stations along the way. Visitors travelling to the River North Art District can get off at 38th/Blake Station. The city also offers the Denver B-cycle – a city-wide bike sharing system. In addition to public transport, ride share options such as Uber and Lyft are also readily available throughout the city and offer quick and affordable rides which can be ordered directly from your phone.
The city of Denver offers a range of accommodation options ranging from casual hostels to hotel chains and vacation rentals. There are two main hotels located in the River North Art District; The Source Hotel and La Quinta Inn Denver Central. A number of Airbnb and rental options are also available. Alternatively, the city centre features a wide range of affordable accommodation options and offers quick and easy access to the art district via public transport.
The ‘Mile High City’ of Denver offers a range of things to do year-round, from attractions to adventures and activities. Featuring cultural attractions, to a foodie’s paradise and a range of vibrant neighbourhoods, the city has something for everyone. Popular attractions include the Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Art Museum and Denver Zoo. As well as the Arts District, Denver also boasts a bustling downtown neighbourhood ‘LoDo’, known for its trendy shopping and dining scene.
The city of Denver boasts over 5000 acres of traditional parks and parkways, which include rivers, running trails and more. Popular parks include Skyline Park, Civic Centre Park, Confluence Park, Centennial Flower Gardens, Commons Park and City Park.
Denver also showcases a thriving music scene and is home to the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre; which has host some of the biggest artists and live acts in the world. Talented artists from a range of genres can be found playing at many clubs and venues in the metro area on just about any given night. The metro area is also home to over 100 breweries and tap rooms, showcasing Denver’s thriving beer culture. Visitors can join one of Denver’s meany Brewery tours and explore the Denver Beer Trail.
