Now in its 23rd year, the festival has established itself as one of the most important festivals on the European music scene. Welcoming some of the biggest and best techno artists in the world, Aquasella will continue to make history in the valley of music this summer.

This year’s lineup will welcome more than 50 local and international artists, who will perform across the three-day event. The first day of the event will be powered by Non Stop Records, and will be headlined by Hector Couto, Paul Darey and Piero Pirupa. You can also catch Carlos Chaparro, Raul Pacheco and Delgado on the first day. Headlining day two will be a number of techno favourites, including Kölsch, Nastia and Sven Väth. There will also be a number of live performances from KiNK, Perc and Nølah. Day three will showcase the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Dixon, Nina Kraviz, Skream, The Martinez Brothers and many more. The final day will feature Chanin, Chusso, Damian Martin, Darkrow and Ummett.
Aquasella will take place at Cangas de Onís, just outside Arriondas, Spain.
The nearest major airport is Bilbao Airport, located approximately 2 hours east of Arriondas. Upon arrival, you can travel to the festival via car or bus. Car rental facilities are available throughout the airport and offer affordable and flexible transportation to the festival.
Aquasella also offers an official bus for the festival. You can reserve a round-trip bus from just about anywhere in Spain, with a number of departure locations to choose from. Buses will depart from Badajoz, Madrid, Ciudad Real, Barcelona, Vigo, Salamanca, Vitoria, Tarragona, Zaragoza, Logrono, Bilbao, Leon, Santiago de Compostela A Coruna, Luga, Valladolid, Valencia, Leon, Santander, Caceres and Toledo. Bus trips start at 25 euros and range up to 71 euros.
Aquasella features an official camping area on-site. You can camp from Thursday, August 15 from 5 pm until Monday 19 August at noon. The classic camping area features 35,000 square metres of flat green areas surrounded by a stunning forest of carboys oak trees.
You can bring your own tent and camping supplies or purchase a pre-setup clamping package. The glamping area is also located within this campsite. If you wish to camp next to your car, you can camp at the Riosella camping area, located less than 5 minutes away from the festival grounds. This campground features 50,000 square metres and is surrounded by a riparian forest and the Sella River.
There are also a number of hotel and Airbnb options located within the vicinity of the festival. Nearby options include Hotel Puente Romano, Hotel Imperion and Apartments Aldea Del Puente. You can explore all the nearby accommodation options below.
Located in Asturias, the village of Arriondas offers a variety of things to see and do throughout the region. One of the most popular attractions is Cangas Aventura – Descenso del Sella, an adventure sports park in the forest; offering a number of tree-top activities.
Throughout Asturias, you can find a number of stunning hidden beaches, such as Playa de Gulpiyuri, a flooded sinkhole with a 40-metre beach and a natural monument. You can also find a wide variety of scenic hiking trails. Popular trails include Cabin Real de la Mesa, El Camino Francés, Parque Natural de Redes and Parque Natural de Somiedo.
Aquasella will take place from August 15-18, 2019.
