Apart from skiing and snowboarding in the popular Alps, there also other things to do in the area.
1. Biking trails in Zwolferkogelbahn, Schattberg X-press and Bike Circus Saalbach are available.
2. Hike along the Baumzipfelweg and Reiterkogelbahn trails.
3. Visit the Der Talschluss wildlife areas.
4. Enjoy Schnitza’s Holzpark. You can go on a zipline adventure in the Hochseilpark. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride in the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley or enjoy the waters of the Teufelswasser (Devil’s Water).
From Salzburg, you can jump on a train or bus going to Zell am See. From there, there are buses going to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm resort.
Those who would like to join the festival can stay in the resort. There are various options available from luxury alpine resorts, lodges, hotels and apartments.
Alpinresort Sport and Spa offers a pool, sauna and a hot tub while Hotel Glemmtalerhof has a steam room and sauna. These are just some of the perfect places to relax after a day in the snow or too many parties.
