The world’s largest trance network A State Of Trance (ASOT) returns to Utrecht, Netherlands for their iconic, annual celebration. Founded by the undisputed kind of trance, Armin van Buuren will celebrate a massive 900 episodes of his world renowned radio show in 2019. Uniting trance fans from all over the world, ASOT900 showcases a range of talented trance artists from all corners of the world. The official theme for ASOT900 is ‘Lifting You Higher’ and fans are anticipating another mind blowing event. The combination of incredible talent, sensational music and a world-class production is something every electronic music lover must experience.

Joining the trance legend on stage is a range of talented local and international artists. Ranging from upcoming talent to the biggest names in the scene, the carefully curated lineup features over 30 artists. Five stages will bring together everyone’s favourite elements of the genre under one roof for all to enjoy.

How to get around Utrecht

The city of Utrecht is located just 30 minutes south of the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. Intercity trains run directly from both Centraal station and Schiphol Airport and take approximately 30-40 minutes. Direct train services also run from most major cities including Rotterdam and Eindhoven. 

Located in the city centre, the Jaarbeurs exhibition and convention centre is only an eight minute walk from Utrecht central station. The venue is also easily accessible by many bus and light rail routes. Parking is also available at the venue. 

Where to stay for ASOT900

A number of accommodation options are available in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The nearest hotel is NH Hotel Utrecht which is directly adjacent to the venue. However, due to the close proximity of the venue, many affordable accommodations are available in and around the city centre. Many visitors often stay in Amsterdam as it is only a short train ride away. Many Airbnb options are also available in both Utrecht and Amsterdam, which can accommodate large groups of people at a lower cost.

As the festival operates overnight, many visitors travel directly to and from the event and do not require accommodation. Luggage storage is available at Schiphol Airport starting at 6 euros per 24 hours. Lockers are also available at both Amsterdam and Utrecht central station and range in price depending on size. 

Things to do in Utrecht

The city of Utrecht is home to many museums and gothic style buildings. Popular museums include Museum Speelklok, Railway Museum and National Militair Museum. Nearby parks and gardens including Castle De Haar and Utrecht Botanic Gardens are popular places to unwind and explore the local scenery. 

Utrecht is also a short train ride away from most major cities in the Netherlands. Day trips to popular cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are easy and affordable.
