Solidays 2019: A Music Festival For A Cause In Paris

If there’s two things in this world that unite people from all walks of life, it’s music and a good cause. You get a good dose of both at Solidays, topped off by an excellent weekend full of performances, partying, and dancing. Solidays takes its name from solidarite, the French term for solidarity and the very reason why music legends perform without their usual talent fees for this event. Proceeds go to organizations dedicated to fighting the global AIDS crisis especially in Africa. That’s not the only benefit; only sustainable practices are used in virtually every aspect of the festival including recycling, waste reduction, food and beverage, media, transportation, and much more. Because this event also stands for the solidarity of the planet.

Solidays isn’t one but two terrific reasons to party along to your favorite artists in the City of Lights – do it for AIDS, and do it for the environment.

With over 150 eclectic and diverse acts from all around the world, thrilling entertainment, plus exhibits, conferences, and workshops, this charitable French festival is unlike any other. It has carved a niche for itself through the years as an event with a (BIG) heart; one that is as synonymous to fun as it is to giving back to the most pressing issues concerning us today. The Longchamp Racecourse in Paris plays host to Solidays, a venue steeped in history and tradition. A special camping area will be dedicated to festival goers, complete with comfortable amenities for an enjoyable stay. Check out the many specially-curated zones within the venue, which promise entertainment for all ages.

Previous lineups have featured David Guetta, Diplo, DJ Snake, M83, Jain, Lauryn Hill, and Vanessa Paradis. Stay tuned for the 2019 lineup, and get ready to soak up music, solidarity, and the best that Paris has to offer at Solidays!
