Lovefest 2019: Serbian House and Techno Heaven

Lovefest Serbia is an annual music festival and unique cultural platform founded in the heard of Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia. Originating as a love bridge party in 2007, the festival has grown to become one of the hottest music events in central Serbia. Lovefest annually welcomes a range of popular artists from up and coming talent to headlining acts. It also features workshops, a chill out area, a cinema, kids zones, graffiti art and more. The main goal of the festival is to recognise young talent in Serbia and promote music, art and urban culture of youth.

“Activities of the Lovefest are focused on the actions that contribute to the development of equality, solidarity and tolerance long people with an emphasis on projects that are of a humanitarian, social, environmental, educational and entertaining character”. 

Lovefest Lineup 2019

This years edition of Lovefest Serbia will welcome more than 50 local and international artists who will perform across five stages. Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers and Richie Hawtin are among the many popular headlining acts. The likes of Ben UFO, Benny Rodrigues, Jamie Tiller, Jane Fitz, Sassy J and more will also perform at the three-day event.

How to get around Vrnjacka Banja

The town of Vrnjacka Banja is located approximately 200km south of the Serbian capital of Belgrade. The nearest major airports are Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Niš Constantine the Great Airport. You can travel directly to Lovefest by car, bus or train from any major city in Serbia. Upon arrival, the easiest way to get around the city is on foot or by bicycle. Everything is within walking distance and the festival encourages visitors to help reduce their carbon footprint.

Things to do in Vrnjacka Banja

The small town of Vrnjacka Banja offers a number of attractions and things to do. One of the top attractions is Most Ljubavi, also known as the bridge of love. The bridge features love locks, which have been secured to the rails by visitors.

Other popular attractions include the Monastery of Ljubostinja and the Japanski Art Park. You can also find popular museums such as the Villa Belimarkovic. The town also offers a range of local and international dining options and tours of various venues such as the Grabak Winery.
