Barometer 2019: International Bar Show 

One of Europe’s biggest bar events Barometer returns to Ukraine’s capital this September for it’s 4th annual edition. The three day event welcomes over 18,000 guests from all corners of the globe to celebrate cocktail culture. Over 44,000 cocktails mixed by numerous bars are enjoyed each year, among many tasting opportunities and lectures from the world’s best. The 2018 edition brought together 23 bars from 11 different countries including the best bar in Asia and other highly ranked establishments. Four individual stages host lectures and seminars throughout the day, educating guests on everything bar related and are available in both English and Russian. Two tasting stations also offer a variety of opportunities to sample some of the finest liqueurs available.

The Barometer International Bar Show regularly hosts over 100 speakers from around the world. Previous editions have included International Bartender of the Year Joe Schofield and World Class Global Cocktailian Lauren Mote. Speakers include world renowned bar owners and managers, authors, brand ambassadors and more.

How to get around Kiev

The nearest major airport is Kyiv Boryspil International Airport, which is approximately 30-45 minutes away from the city centre.  Most major airlines operate throughout this airport including popular budget airlines Wizz Air, EasyJet and Vueling.

There are a number of ways to get around Kiev. Public transport is readily available and tickets are as cheap as $0.27 for trams, the metro and buses.
