Scott Bradfield is a trailblazer in the field of entertainment, technology, and action sport. As the first US employee of Red Bull Media House, he co-created the Red Bull Signature Series, launched Red Bull TV, and played a pivotal role in the record-breaking live-streaming of the Stratos project.

Today, Bradfield is the Managing Director of advertising agency The Many in California. Last time Scotty and I recorded a chat was back in June 2021 for Group Y’s Action Sports + Culture where we discussed his career at Fuel TV and proudest moments at Red Bull.

This time around it was awesome to catch up with Scotty and see what he’s been up to since. We spoke about producing Dear Rider the Jake Burton story, McConkey and the value of storytelling, 10 Year anniversary of the Stratos Project, his new role at the advertising agency, artificial intelligence in the media industry and so much more!

The concept for Rad Season came about when I was trekking around Latin America. I found it difficult to find cool events and festivals going on that were a bit different and had an element of adventure and general radness to them. I knew that there was always something rad worth going to somewhere in the world, but there was no single platform bringing them together for like-minded people. With over 15 years experience in international business development, spanning multiple industries including action sports, events, media, digital, ICT, travel and tourism, I decided to combine them all with Rad Season.
