The winter games takes place in the New Zealand town of Queenstown each year. The various disciplines take place at a variety of world class locations such as the Cardrona Alpine Resort, Snow Farm and Queenstown Ice Arena.
The host towns Queenstown and Wanaka are both easily accessible. The nearest major airport is Queenstown Airport, located ten minutes from the Queenstown CBD and approximately 20 minutes to Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
Cardrona Alpine Resort is roughly an hour away. The easiest way to get around is by car.
