Snowboxx 2024: A one of a kind experience at the top of Avoriaz Ski Resort

Snowboxx never fails to deliver unbelievable snow festivals. The event is a mix of electronic music and snow sports with some of the biggest artists in Europe performing at the festival.

PREVIOUS acts included Chase & Status, Loyle Carner, Snakehips, Stefflon Don, Steve Lawler, Abode, Danny Howard, Mark Knight, Leftwing, Kody, Max Chapman and Purple Disco Machine.

Your experience at Snowboxx

Snow lovers can ski or snowboard the amazing Port du Soleil, explore the Burton Stash Park, or even ski across the border to Switzerland. Not a snow bunny just yet? No worries, take some beginner ski or snowboard lessons on one of the many slopes and soak up the festival atmosphere, bier (beer) in hand when you need a break!

Apart from the music and skiing/snowboarding, you can also take part in igloo parties, extreme snowball fights and human bowling on snow!

Snowboxx Festival 2024 Schedule

Snowboxx will be hitting the slopes of Avoriaz, France on March 16 – 23, 2024. The lineup has yet to been confirmed. Stay tuned for artist announcements soon..

There are multiple ticket options. The cheapest is the festival only. You can add accommodation, food, transportation and other add-ons such as party passes.

Things to do in Avoriaz

Avoriaz is a family-oriented resort with activities suited for the whole family, here are just some of the other activities you can enjoy in the resort if you need a break from the snow and the music!

1. Enjoy Crazy Golf, Trampolines, Petanque, Dog Hiking, Archery, Beach Volley, and Table Tennis with the whole family
2. Play golf, squash and tennis in the resort’s facilities
3. Go mountain climbing, paragliding or horse riding if you feel a little adventurous.

Where to stay

Most accommodations are apartments for 2 to 12 guests. Some hotels like Hôtel MiL8 have a wellness center and simply offer convenience like breakfast, a restaurant and skiing to the door. Other apartments have self-catering options, Résidence Pierre & Vacances Electra is a nice option.

If you travel as a group, have a look at La Grange à Germaine, it’s pimp! Not enough? You can stay in an igloo (Village Igloo Morzine Avoriaz). Anything is possible…

How to get there

The nearest airport is Geneva Cointrin International Airport in Switzerland. Coaches and other transport are then available to cross the border back into France and up to the resort.

The nearest train stations are Thonon les bains Station (TGV), Cluses Station and Genève Station.

To get from the train stations, there are coaches and shuttles going to and around the resort. Plus there are also ski lifts to bring the guests to some areas of the resort.
