Sea Dance Festival 2019: Sea Dance is waiting for you!

Sea Dance Festival is an electronic and pop music festival held in the heart of Montenegro. Taking place on the longest beach in Budva, the two-day event annually welcomes the world’s finest DJs and artists from across the spectrum. The sister festival to EXIT Festival will return for a massive 6th edition this summer, inviting thousands to party to the backdrop of a beachside paradise.

The 6th edition of Sea Dance Festival will showcase a range of popular headlining acts, as well as local up-and-coming talent. Previous editions have welcomed the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Paul Kalkbrenner, Nina Kraviz and more. This year’s edition will be headlined by EDM sensations David Guetta and Robin Schulz, with more names still to come.

How to get around Budva

Held at the stunning Buljarica Beach, the festival is located just 30 minutes along the coast from the Old Town in Budva. The nearest airports are Tivat Airport and Podgorica Airport, located approximately an hour from the festival.

Official Sea Dance shuttles are available, transferring visitors directly between surrounding airports and Buljarica Beach. Shuttles start at 20 euros each way. Upon arrival, the easiest way to travel around Budva is on foot.

Where to stay for Sea Dance Festival 2019

Sea Dance offers a variety of accommodation options ranging from campsites to apartments, hotels, hostels and more. The official Sea Dance Camp will be located at Camp Maslina. The privately owned campsite is perfectly situated between comfort and nature.

Access to the Sea Dance Camp is 31 euros per person and a ticket is valid for all four days. The campsite is fully equipped with parking, toilets, showers, electricity and wifi. The nearest towns include Petrovac, Canj and Sutomore, located 5-15 minutes from the festival grounds.

Things to do in Budva

The coastal town of Budva features a number of attractions. The Old Town is the town’s main attraction, featuring small streets with shops and restaurants, small beaches and stunning ocean views. You can find popular landmarks such as the Podmaine Monastery, the Holy Trinity Church, Saint Ivan Church and the Statua Ballerina.

Beginning just outside the Old Town, you simply cannot miss the Budva Riviera. The 35km long strip of the Adriatic coast surrounds the town with more than 12km of beaches and is the centre of beach tourism. Just outside the Old Town, you can also find Aquapark Budva, a popular water park with rides, attractions, bars, restaurants and more.
