Celebrated as a place where hedonism meets activism, EXIT festival’s social relevance is attracting the biggest acts from around the globe who want to make an impact. Held in the 18th Century colossal Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad in Serbia, 215,000 people danced through the gates of the spectacular venue ready to take on the world and listen to 1,000 performers on 40 stages.
Hosting stars like The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, Madonna, The Killers, Sex Pistols, Guns’n’Roses, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Patti Smith, Motorhead, LCD Soundsystem, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Andy C, and DJ Shadow, it attracts party goers from over 60 countries each year.
Exit Village is by far the most popular gathering place for Exit visitors, it’s the place where the party never ends. It is located at one of the most gorgeous locations – the Štrand beach in Novi Sad. People from all over the world settle here to make friends and enjoy non-stop music.
The MTS Dance Arena showcases the world’s best DJ’s and electronic music, while a stop into Foodland keeps party goers sustained between music stages.

The Petrovaradin Fortress is a fortress in the town of Petrovaradin, itself part of the City of Novi Sad, Serbia. It is located on the right bank of the Danube River.
There are official EXIT shuttle coaches to and from all airports nearby. Serbian Railways offers a train service from Belgrade to the fortress.

The EXIT Village gives a unique festival camping experience, spend sleepy nights in a tent under the open starry sky, sunbathe, swim and meet new fantastic people around the campsite from across the globe. There are hot showers, charging stations, food and drinks toilets and equipment hire all available on site.
There are many hostels within extremely short walking distance of the festival. The Campus Hostel is one of these. The rooms feature a small kitchen and bathroom and has WiFi, laundry room, as well as a yard to chill out in.
The Museum of Vojvodina has a rich historic collection, especially on archaeology, ethnology and a great exhibition on 20th century Vojvodina and its modern history. The museum focuses on both history and art, including pieces not only from around Serbia, but also from elsewhere in Europe.
On the western side of Liberty Square is the unique City Hall building. At the top of this building is an imposing tower, which is where the bell of Saint Florian is kept, who was the patron saint of Novi Sad.
