Rock for People is one of the most popular summer open-air music festivals in the Czech Republic. Taking place at the Festivalpark in Hradec Kralove each summer, the festival regularly welcomes many renowned international artists, as well as popular local talent. 2024 will mark the 28th-anniversary edition of the event. Showcasing talent from rock, indie, punk, metalcore, electronica, hip-hop, drum and bass, dubstep and more, the festival truly is ‘for the people’.

Celebrating its 28th year, the festival is bringing a range of huge headlining acts.
In 2022 World-renowned rock band Green Day, headlined the event, alongside a range of popular talent. Other popular headline artists included Biffy Clyro, Royal Blood, SUM 41, Fall Out Boy and Weezer.
In addition to the impressive lineup, the festival also offers discussions, workshops and theatre performances. Stay tuned for 2024 announcements.
Rock for People will take place at Festivalpark at Hradec Kralove Airport in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. You can find the event at Letiště 38, 503 41 Hradec Králové, Czechia.
The nearest major Airport is Václav Havel Airport in Prague, located approximately 90 minutes west of Hradec Kralove. Car rental options are available throughout the airport, making it easy for visitors to travel to and around Hradec Kralove. A number of regional bus routes are also available.
Popular budget bus companies such as RegioJet and FlixBus offer regular services to and around the Czech Republic and throughout Europe. The festival is located approximately 2km from Hradec Kralove’s city centre. The quickest and easiest way to get to the festival is via car, with a travel time of around 15 minutes.
Rock for People offers a large camping site, which is adjacent to the festival area. Camping access is available for three nights at 18 euros and can be purchased at the festival gates.
A large range of hotel and rentals can also be found in the surrounding areas and throughout the city centre.
The city of Hradec Kralove offers a number of things to see and do. Bílá vež is the popular white tower, found in the city centre. It is the tallest building in the city of Hradec Kralove and offers stunning city and mountain views from the top. Nearby, you can also find the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, the principal church of the Diocese of Hradec Kralove. The city also offers a number of museums and art galleries.
Located just outside the city centre, Hrádek u Nechanic is a popular 19th-century gothic style manor house with historic displays and impressive architecture. You can also find the popular amusement park Toboga Tongo Hradec.
