Nature One 2019: ‘The Twenty Five’ 

Nature One is one of the largest annual electronic music festivals in Germany. Taking place at a former missile base in the western town of Hasselbach, the festival celebrates its 25th year anniversary this summer. The festival regularly welcomes more than 50,000 visitors each year to celebrate peace, open-mindedness and happiness at the three-day event.

Nature One Lineup 2019

The Festival regularly welcomes a wide variety of artists from across multiple genres. This year, the festival will showcase more than 350 DJs and live acts across 22 floors. The open-air floor will welcome the likes of ATB, Cosmic Gate, Eric Prydz, Markus Schulz, Neelix, Paul van Dyk and more. Century Circus will feature headlining acts Richie Hawtin, Rødhåd, Sven Väth and more. Home Base will welcome crowd favourites LOBRA, Hugel, Karotte, SKIY, Nora En Pure and more. The Twenty Five Floor will showcase Alex Christensen, Da Hool, Ravers Nature and Woody van Eyden, among many other names. This year’s lineup also features a number of popular names representing the harder styles; including Da Tweekaz, Hard Driver and Psyko Punkz. There will also be a number of live performances from artists including Angerfist, BMG, Fjaak, Klopfgeister, Protonica and more.

Nature One takes place at the Pydna former missile base in Hasselbach, Germany. You can find the event at L225, 56288 Hasselbach, Germany. 

How to get around Hasselbach

The nearest airport is Frankfurt-Hanh, airport, located approximately 15 minutes from the festival grounds. Most budget airlines throughout Europe such as Ryanair, Wizzair and SunExpress operate throughout this airport. Taxis are readily available at the airport and can transfer you directly to the festival grounds. You can also pre-book an official festival shuttle from the airport, starting at 73 euros for a roundtrip pass. If you are driving, you can head towards 56288 Kastellaun/Hunsrück. Coming from the north, you can take the A61 to exit Pfalzfeld. If you are coming from the south, take the A61 to exit Rheinböllen. From the exit, you can follow event signage to the grounds. Parking is available at the festival grounds and is located approximately a 10-minute walk from the festival.

You can also travel to the festival via train, stopping at HBF Koblenz. From the station, non-stop shuttle transfers will be available, departing every 20 minutes with a travel time of around 45 minutes. Round trip shuttle passes can be purchased at the departure point for 10 euros. 

Where to stay for Nature One

Nature One offers an official campground for visitors throughout the duration of the festival. Camping tickets start at 15 euros from Saturday or 30 euros from Thursday or Friday; and include access to vehicle parking, toilets and drinking water.  You can bring your own tent and camping supplies or reserve a pre-setup tent package. FestiTents are available at the campgrounds for 1, 2 or 4 people and start at 45 euros per person. Free shuttles are available to transfer campers to and from Kastellaun; where you can find grocery stores, beverage stores, restaurants and fast food, drugstores, pharmacies and more.

There are also a number of hotel and Airbnb options available within the vicinity of the festival grounds. Recommended hotels include Hotel Rheinlust, Bellevue Rheinhotel, B&B Hotel Koblenz and Airport-Hotel Fortuna. Things to do in Hasselbach

The municipality of Hasselbach is located in the city of Koblenz, just outside Frankfurt. The city of Koblenz offers a variety of things to see and do. Popular attractions include the Schängel Fountain, the Deutsches Eck Monument, the Erenbreitstein Fortress and Stolzenfels Castle.

You can also find a number of churches throughout the city, including the Basilica or St. Castor and Liebfrauenkirche; showcasing Romanesque architecture. Koblenz is also home to a number of museums. Popular museums include the Mittelrheinmuseum Art Museum, the Ludwig Museum and the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung Army Museum.
