The Lyon Urban Trail (LUT) is one of the most participated in running events in Europe. Now in it’s 15th year, the LUT provides a wide array of urban terrains to its participants, from the Hotel Of Ville courtyard to the Gallo-Roman site of Fourvière.

The event takes place in the Place des Terreaux before finally moving to various places throughout Lyon. Most people gather in the square during the start of the event to witness the action and also because the expo happens there at the same time.

Things to do in Lyon

1. Go sightseeing and see historical landmarks such as the Hotel de Ville, The Presqu’ile,

How to get around Lyon

There is a tramway giving easy access as well as buses passing by Hotel de Ville-Louis Pradel metro station, the nearest station to the location.
