Gridlife Midwest will take place at the GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. You can find the event at 61414 Co Rd 388, South Haven, MI 49090.
South Haven is located two hours from Chicago, 2.25 hours from Detroit and 3 hours from Indianapolis. The nearest major airport is Chicago Midway International Airport, located just over two hours from the venue.
Car rental options are available at all airports and are the easiest way to get to and around South Haven, as public transport is limited.
There are two entrances to the event; however, general admission ticket holders are only able to enter via the main gate. The main gate is located at 3499 W 62nd St, South Haven, MI 49090.
The best way to get the full Gridlife experience is to camp on the grid. The festival campgrounds offer a range of options including general camping and glamping. Camping passes must be purchased in addition to a general admission ticket and spots are limited.
There are three different ways for general admission campers to enjoy the full experience. General camping is the main campsite and acts as a first-come, first-served basis. The Front 40 camping area is also available and offers a quiet and family-friendly camping area.
Finally, trackside camping is available for visitors to camp right on the edge of the track all weekend long. Spots are pre-reserved.
New since 2019, Gridlife will also be offering Gridlife Glamping. The Track Side Spectator Hill GlampGround features pre-setup weatherproof tents with four beds, power outlets and exclusive Gridlife essentials. You can also bring your RV to the event, with RV camping available without and with power. Trackside RV passes are also available to purchase.
The lakefront city of South Haven offers a number of things to see and do. North Beach is one of the most popular destinations, featuring year-round lake access with fishing swimming, a playground, dining options and more.
Located nearby, you can also find the South Haven Light, an operational lighthouse tower situated at the entrance to the Black River.
The city also offers a number of popular museums including the Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum and the Michigan Maritime Museum. Just outside the city, you can also find Van Buren State Park, a popular 400-acre state park featuring sand dunes, woodland trails, picnic areas, campsites and more.
