Bass Canyon 2019: Three Days Of Bass

Bass Canyon Festival returns to The Gorge Amphitheatre this summer to celebrate the best bass music in the world. Taking place at one of the most renowned music venues in the USA, the three-day event annually brings together the best vibes from the bass music community at one of the most scenic venues on earth. 

“Excision is bringing you a one-of-a-kind festival in the Pacific Northwest, featuring 3 days of The Paradox stage production, the heaviest hitting artists in the scene and gorgeous views of the mountains” 

Hosted by Excision himself, the Canadian DJ and producer is scheduled to perform three times throughout the weekend. Joining the bass legend will be a wide variety of popular talents and up and coming artists. This year, Excision has carefully curated a one-of-a-kind lineup featuring the best in bass and a range of special sets and B2Bs. Also performing at Bass Canyon will be the likes of 12th Planet, Boogie T, Dion Timmer, Flux Pavilion, Ganja White Night, Liquid Stranger, Space Jesus and many more. Excision will also perform exclusive B2B sets with spotlight artists Calcium, Chime, Jantsen, Jessica Audiffred, Tynan, Ubur and Yookie.

How to get around George

The Gorge Amphitheatre is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Located just 25 minutes from Quincy, you can take highway 281 south to Beverly-Burke Road and follow the signs to the Amphitheatre. If you are driving from Seattle or Spokane, which are approximately 3 hours away, you can take the I-90, exiting at #143 if you are coming from the east of #149 if you are coming from the west. All GA and VIP ticket holders are entitled to free regular day parking. 

Bass Canyon also offers official shuttle transfers from Seattle Downtown or Seatac Airport, starting at $39 each way. 

Where to stay for Bass Canyon Festival

Bass Canyon offers a unique camping experience in one of the most scenic locations in the world. The campgrounds open at 1 pm on Thursday and must be vacated by 12 pm on Monday. You can bring your own tent and camping supplies or purchase a pre-setup camping package. There are a variety of camping tickets available; offering closer entry, best views of the gorge and more. The campgrounds are fully equipped with sanitary facilities, as well as vendors, general stores and more. 

There are also a number of accommodation options available within the vicinity of the festival. The nearest hotel is the Cave B Inn & Spa Resort; located just a short walk from the venue. You can also find more hotel options such as the Sundowner Motel and Knights Inn Quincy; located just a short drive from the festival. Things to do in George

The city of George offers a number of things to see and do; the majority being outdoors. One of the most popular attractions is the Columbia Basin Wildlife Area, a wildlife refuge in Grant County featuring Quincy Lake and a range of other nature reserves and outdoor areas. Nearby, you can also find Ancient Lake, Dusty Lake, Stan Coffin Lake, Burke Lake, and Martha Lake. Many of the lakes offer campgrounds nearby, as well as fishing and outdoor water activities.
