There may be dozens of electronic dance festivals around the world, but there is simply nothing like the Ultra Music Festival. The event dates back to 1999, when it was founded by Alex Omes and Russell Faibisch, who named the festival after the famous 1997 Depeche Mode album called Ultra. Up until 2006, it was a only a one-day event in Miami, but it has since grown to a multi-day festival filled with explosive EDM acts. In fact, the festival has seen a growth so massive that there are now Ultra Music Festival editions being held in various parts around the globe including Ibiza, Croatia, Chile, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, and other cities in the United States.
