Tortuga Music Festival 2024: Florida’s Fiesta of Country Music

Country music lovers unite! Florida’s Tortuga Festival is a huge celebration of all things ‘country’ with the added bonus of a beachside location. Rock The Ocean presents the Tortuga Music Festival in a three-day celebration of country music that also supports marine conservation.

Located on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, Tortuga Music Festival is the perfect way to catch some spring sunshine, dance your heart out to some of your favourite country, rock and roots artists and know you’re part of a mindful movement to raise awareness of the plight of marine wildlife.

An amazing $1,000,000 has been raised for marine conservation by the Tortuga Music Festival.

Like-minded country music fans will have the weekend of their lives partying to artists they love with their feet in the sand.

Previous line ups have included country superstars such as Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and Brothers Osborne and Jason Aldean. Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw and Miranda Lambert.

Where to view Tortuga Music Festival 

The Tortuga Music Festival is held on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale – 1100 Seabreeze Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316. You will be able to exit and re-enter the festival once during the day so choose your exit time wisely!

There are some VIP areas which has amazing views of the main stage and also ADA accessible viewing platforms.

How to get around Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale Beach Park can be easily accessed by bus, water taxi and rideshare or taxi services but there will be no parking at the event.

Unfortunately, those with their own water boats will be unable to anchor then offshore near the event to make way for water taxis and security vehicles. A1A/Harbor D and A1A/Holiday D are the closest bus stations to the event.

Where to stay in Fort Lauderdale

There are a number of hotels located within the vicinity of the Tortuga Music Festival so you can be within walking distance of the event. These include a Best Western, Marriott and Harbor Beach Inn.

Most hotels in the area have swimming pools so you can spend your morning relaxing by the pool before heading over to the festival.

Things to do in Fort Lauderdale

Most of your time at Tortuga will be filled with music, but when you’re not rocking out to the main stage there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy! Games, competitions, flowing drinks, and street food are just to name a few. Of course, the beach is right on the doorstep too so you can dip your feet in the water while you dance the night away.

As the festival is linked with Rock The Ocean, there will be workshops, talks, info stands and interactive experience to help raise awareness for the foundation that focuses on scientific research, education and ocean conservation initiatives.
