Shaky Beats 2019: Atlanta’s Most Sensational Music Festival

You can’t call yourself a music enthusiast if you aren’t going to the Shaky Beats Festival. This Atlanta, Georgia event brings together over 40 of the cream of the crop acts to play across several stages wrapped in one dazzling music festival. It’ll give you a good dose of local talent, too – you might just discover your new favorite indie act! Be prepared to be blown away by mind-melting audio visuals from various artists – many of them are going to pull off a show that’s going to feel more like an electrifying out of this world experience instead of just your average concert. The spacious open-air venue provides you with lots of room to dance it out from day to night. Catch your breath on the greens near the venue, and get some shade beneath the trees before you head back for several more hours of dancing. Shaky Beats takes place at Central Park, 311 North Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia.

General Admission and VIP passes are available for the festival. Patrons must be at least 18 years of age; 21 and up for the VIP passes.

How to get around Atlanta

Uber is the most convenient way to get around during the festival. The venue will have a designated Uber Pickup Zone located at the corner of Piedmont and Pine Street. Alternatively, use the MARTA public transport system for ease of getting around Atlanta.

There are lots of great, affordable hotels around and nearby Central Park. Atlanta also has terrific hotels spread out in various areas that you may want to check out. Buckhead, known for terrific shopping and many tourist sites, is popular for a wide selection of five-star hotels.

Midtown is a good choice if you don’t know where to start, but know that you want to be in close proximity to many of the best sights and establishments in the city.

Culture vultures, foodies, party people: everyone will find something to love about Hotlanta. Nurse your Shaky Beats hangover at the famous Krog Street Market, the most talked about food market in Atlanta built in what was once a cast-iron stove factory.

The market is literally filled with Atlanta’s best food under one roof: bacon cheeseburgers, craft beer, and smoothies if you feel like detoxing. Catch a flick at the iconic Starlight Drive-In Theatre. Have a nightcap (or 5) at one of the many watering holes downtown.
