The festival first started in 2014, but has already won accolades from local and international press and declared “one of the most unique festivals on Earth” by Time magazine. The festival featured some of the biggest names from the music industry and well-known international artists that include The Prodigy, Gucci Mane, Slayer, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Bonnie Tyler, and Big Sean. There are also many famous Icelandic artists in the lineup.
The festival provides a lifetime opportunity to enjoy the Midnight Sun (winters are dark and in summer it doesn’t ever get dark).
