This year’s edition of Rock The Castle will welcome a range of impressive names. Dream Theater will headline the first day of the event. Sharing the stage will be Tesseract, Haken, Mono, Inglorious, Kingcrow and Levania. Day two will see Slash headline the stage; alongside Black Stone Cherry, Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach, Richie Kotzen and FM. The final day will close out with the iconic Slayer. Gojira, Overkill, Sacred Reich, Necrodeath and Carved. Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals will also perform on the final day with an exclusive Pantera set.

Rock The Castle takes place at Castello Scaligero, just outside Verona, Italy. You can find the event at Piazza Castello, 34, 25019 Sirmione BS, Italy.
The nearest major airport is Valerio Catullo Airport, located 10km southwest of Verona’s city centre. Upon arrival, car rental options are available throughout the airport. Direct airport shuttle services are also available to transfer visitors to the city. Verona’s public transport system offers frequent bus and train services, making it easy to get around.
There are a number of ways to travel to the festival. The nearest train station is Villafranca di Verona, on the Verona-Modena line. The train leaves every hour from Verona Porta Nuova. Upon arrival, the Scaligero Castle is located 600 metres away. By bus, visitors can travel on the daytime lines 158 and 160 from Verona to Villafranca; with a travel time of approximately 30-35 minutes. A shuttle service is also available from Verona Porta Nuova Station, which transfers visitors directly to the Scaligero Castle. You can reserve round trip shuttle tickets online. Finally, if you are driving from Verona, you can take the SS62 for 15km, which will take you directly to the city centre. If you are driving from Florence, Bologna or Modena, it is recommended to take exit Nogarole Rocca, located 5km from the centre.
