Piknic Electronik 2019: Montreal’s Hottest Summer Cultural Circuit

The summer party that truly never stops calls Montreal, Quebec, Canada home during the four month festival called Piknic Electronik. Piknic Electronik takes place at Montreal’s iconic recreation park, Parc Jean Drapeau. Not only does it have the city’s largest outdoor concert venue, it also includes a Formula-1 race track, aquatics centre, Six Flags amusement park and a beautiful beach.

Tickets range from single day admission for less than $20 and access to all events for $119. Family combos and student discounts are also available. Children under the age of 12 have free admission!

How to Get Around Montreal

The extremely efficient public transit system, paired with the pedestrian-friendly streets makes commuting a breeze in Montreal. Biking is also a solid option as the city is home to over 750 kilometres of bike paths.

Although the subway system has an extensive network, it only contains four lines which makes commuting simple and convenient. Wait times between each trait are less than 10 minutes. Taxis are easy to flag down and buses and shuttles provide extended services late at night.
