Weeze, Germany

From it’s spectacular stage design to it’s dedicated newspaper “Parookaville Post” and passports for each of its “citizens”, this festival plays by it’s own rules.

Inspired by founder Bill Paroooka’s philosophy of “Joy of Life”, the German festival city rises once again to electrify it audience with 185 premier acts.  Making their way around the city, visa’s are available for the Main Stage, Bill’s Factory, Penny DJ Tower, Brainwash, Centre Shelter, Wacky Shack, Cloud Factory, Desert Valley, Electrisize Bunker and East Shelter from Thursday through to Monday.

Thematic stages are plentiful. Dj’s perform on a booth built out of washing machines that churn out bubbles and suds to it’s citizens at the laundromat themed “Brainwash” stage.  Bill’s Factory is a large industrial stage with smoke stacks that doubles as a pyrotechnic display.

Over and above to the stages are the novelty themed areas with special activities for members of the city. Engage in holy matrimony at the chapel or get a mug shot taken in a line up at the police station.

Despite its 80,000 fans, Parookaville provides both intimate moments and main stage mayhem for fans to engage in every sort of social experience. Get a special taste of Spain’s Ibiza with Pacha on Tour, a nightclub offering deep and dark music in a cosy and intimate location.

‘A captivating festival experience is only enhanced by the swimming pool, creative wonders and forest that surrounds the musical delights.’

There is free drinking water as the beer flows freely, as it usually does in Germany. The big Penny Store is open 24 hours a day, as well as the market place with multiple shops, food stands. Add this to the fun park, waterslide, mud masters and chill out areas, camping in the mellow fields has never felt like such an escape from the real world.

Previous years headliners include FRDY, Dave Replay, Hardwell, Robin Schulz, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Solomun, Sven Vath, ZEDD, and Dave Guetta on 10 triumphant stages.

The 2023 lineup is yet to drop. Stay tuned for artists announcements.
