Three days. Phenomenal music. Portuguese paradise. The NOS Primavera Sound 2018 lineup is sure to have you vibin’ out for 72 hours straight to a set of 64 artists from all parts of the music industry. Last year’s headliners included Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Lorde, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator. Electronica, contemporary and eclectic styles will add to the mix for a completely refreshing international lineup.
Founded in 2011, NOS Primavera Sound gained popularity as the little sister to the Barcelona festival with the same name. Much like its preceding music event counterpart, the Portuguese festival boasts one of the best lineups in all of Europe.
The urban park of Parque da Cidade will be the official location of this super summer music bash. Three stages are spaced out over the course of the seaside park with sweeping city views. The venue itself separates this music festival from many of its competition. The NOS Primavera Sound is tucked away in the midst of lush greenery and ocean scenery.
“Europe’s best lineup meets the rolling green hills and seaside heights of the NOS Primavera Sound 2018.”
Grab a day ticket or a full weekend package then stake out a spot under the sun anywhere on the green slopes of Parque de Cidade. The venue is well spaced with plenty of food stations, wine bars and bathroom areas. Make sure to check the daily schedule and catch your favorite artist at the Palco, Super Bock and NOS stages.
The Parque de Cidade is extremely transportation friendly. Getting around by car would be the most convenient way to travel Porto as many highways line the city. Bus and metro routes are great alternative options that offer special services for ticket holders to the festival. As always, Uber is another staple in a responsible transportation option. A dedicated Uber area will be assigned just outside the festival grounds for those using the rideshare app. Lastly, the city of Porto is extremely bike friendly. Flat, easy-going bike paths loop around the city and park grounds with great views of the river and sea.
