Neopop is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Viana do Castelo in Portugal each summer. The festival annually invites a stacked lineup filled with techno royalty for an epic three-day celebration of music; just meters from the Atlantic Ocean. Since the first edition in 2006, the festival has grown to become one of the most respected electronic music festivals in the country; and has won numerous awards.

This year’s lineup welcomes a wide range of techno royalty to the three-day event. Day one will showcase Rui Vargas, John Digweed and Underworld Live on the Neo Stage; as well as 2Jack4U who will perform a live set on the Anti Stage. Day two will welcome the likes of popular techno icons including Amelie Lens, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Acid Pauli and more. Day three continues to bring the action with the likes of Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot and more. The final day will close out with techno favourites Tale Of Us, as well as Nastia, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier and more.
Neopop Festival takes place in the Portuguese town of Viana do Castelo. You can find the event at Rua dos Mareantes, Junto ao Forte Santiago da Barra, 4900-350 Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
The nearest major airport is Porto Airport, located approximately 40 minutes south of Viana do Castelo. You can also fly into Vigo Airport in Spain, which is just over an hour north of the festival. The easiest way to travel to the Viana do Castelo is via train. Direct trains are available from Algarve, Lisbon, Porto and even nearby cities in Spain. Upon arrival at Viana do Castelo Train Station, the festival grounds are a 5-minute walk. The festival also provides free shuttles, which are included in your Neopop ticket. Shuttles are available from Porto and Vigo from the main bus and train stations and airport. Shuttles will also be available to transfer visitors to and from the campgrounds.
Camping is available at Neopop and access to the campgrounds is free with your Neopop ticket. In order to camp, you must register your campsite online through the festival. You can bring your own tent and camping supplies, or purchase a pre-setup camping package through the festival site.

You can also find a number of popular beaches, including Praia do Cabedelo, a public beach; popular for surfing and windsurfing. Other popular attractions that can be found throughout the city include the Museum do Traje costume display and museum, the Ponte Eiffel multi-level bridge and the Citânia Santa Luzia historical site.
