The popular festival has seen the attendance of celebrities from the likes of Bryan Adams and Jim Morrison. The Cornbury Festival was also proud to present the internationally famed songwriter Alanis Morrissette as part of its music lineup in the most recent session of the event.

Where to view Cornbury Festival

The Cornbury Music Festival is held at the town Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire County.  The festival is due to take place in the beautiful Great Tew Estate in the heart of Cotswolds which is renowned for its horse trials and farming.

How to get around Chipping Norton

If you prefer to travel by train then you can opt for the Banbury Station which is about 30 minutes away from the Great Tew.

In terms of travelling by bus, the bus shuttle service is present between the festival location and Banbury stations. The bus service will make their timetable available to you which is normally close to the timing of the festival.

Driving is the normal transport method preferred by most. You can rent a car from Oxford and follow the A44 through Woodstock. Once you go a few miles you can turn right at Enstone and reach your desired destination.

You can also take the A361 south of Banbury towards Chipping Norton and from there you can turn left to Enstone and reach the festival.

Where to stay for Cornbury Festival

The Great Tew is well prepared to accommodate the flock of people who arrive to participate in the festival in the summer. This is why they are more than happy to participate in the housing of the Cornbury festival guests.

What to do in Chipping Norton

The Great Tew is widely known for its Anglo Saxon history and its magnificent cottages, along with its mills. You can visually enjoy the quaint beauty of the estate as you stroll down the village.

You can also take part in the villagers farming activities and enjoy horse rides on the estate. The village is unique for having both a calming and exciting effect on its visitors.
