The United Kingdom, made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, is an island nation in northwestern Europe. England – birthplace of Shakespeare and The Beatles – is home to world famous music festivals like Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds Fest.

The United Kingdom may be a small country but it has plentiful action sports and adventure activities to experience, such as obstacle race events, mud runs, Red Bull events, surfing competitions and adventure events. Despite not having much of a natural ski and snowboard scene, the UK makes up for it with Indoor Ski and Snowboard Championships.
