The Untz Festival is an annual music and camping festival held in California. The three-day event connects fans, artists, labels and promoters from across the underground electronic music community. Striving to bring a unique and intimate family and friend’s vibe to the stunning beauty of Northern California in the USA, The Untz Festival welcomes thousands of visitors each year.

The Untz Festival annually assembles a cutting-edge roster of artists from across all spectrums of electronic music. The festival boasts four epic stages; two of which will be indoor. Featuring top-notch sound and lights, the stages will showcase different styles of music all weekend long.

This year’s festival welcomes a variety of popular headlining acts and local talent; ranging from the international bass music circuit, experimental left field and more. Space Jesus and Boogie T will headline the fourth annual edition, alongside Bleep Bloop, Subtronics, Al Ross, He$h and more.

How to get around Mariposa

Located in the heart of California, the Mariposa County Fairgrounds is best accessed by car. The nearest airport is Fresno Yosemite International Airport, located approximately 80 minutes from the festival. Other nearby airports include Oakland International Airport, Mineta San Jose International Airport, Sacramento International Airport and San Francisco International Airport. Car rental facilities are available throughout all airports and are the easiest way to get to the festival.

The festival has also partnered up with RickyRides to provide a ride-sharing solution for visitors. Visitors can offer rides or search for rides through the safe ride-sharing service.

Where to stay for The Untz Festival

Camping is available at The Untz Festival and is included in your festival ticket. The general campsite is open to everyone on a first-come, first served basis and vehicles are not permitted. A limited amount of car camping is also available at a separate campsite located a short walk from the festival entrance. RV camping is permitted in designated areas on the campsite with the purchase of an RV Parking Pass.

A number of pre-setup tents can also be found in a reserved campsite and are extremely limited. Pre-setup campsites are available for up to two people, under the shade of the on-site barns, and include a queen air mattress, two pillows and full bedding. Four exclusive bungalow tent cabins are also up for grabs, featuring a queen bed, Wi-Fi, power, a ceiling fan and a mini-fridge. All campsites are fully equipped with sanitary facilities and food and merchant vendors.

A number of hotels and rental options are also available in the surrounding areas. Nearby hotels include Miners Inn Motel, Mariposa Lodge, Best Western Yosemite Way Station and Comfort Inn Yosemite Valley Gateway. You can find all the nearby accommodation options below.

Things to do at The Untz Festival 2019

In addition to the unique schedule of talent, The Untz Festival also offers a range of activities and workshops throughout the event. Each morning kicks off with Morning Yoga – Vinyasa Flow, which is suitable for all levels. Dream interpretation workshops are available, dedicated to learning about dreams and the universal language of the mind.

A number of meditation workshops are available, fusing together deep elemental tracks and meditative visions and giving participants an understanding of how to go inward. Other workshops include craft workshops, chakra workshops and mediumship workshops. You can also participate in a number of ceremonies such as the Kava Kava ceremony, Return To Light ceremony and Sacred Cacao ceremony.
