Held on the border of the USA and Mexico, the small Texan town of El Paso lights up the South-Western sky each year. Featuring multiple outdoor stages, local and regional art displays, a diverse music line-up and more, the festival regularly gives local artists an opportunity to showcase their talent at the popular event.

The Festival annually welcomes a range of national and international headlining acts among local and up-and-coming talent. This year’s edition will showcase more than 40 artists across the two-day event. Rezz, Miguel, Steve Aoki and Tory Lanez will headline day one of the event; alongside Don Omar, Tyga, Dashboard Confessional and more. Day two will close out with Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug and Kali Uchis; sharing the stage with Gunna, Deorro, Tchami, Chicano Batman and more.
Neon Desert takes place in Downtown El Paso, Texas. You can find the event at 300 N Kansas St, El Paso, TX 79901.
The nearest airport is El Paso International Airport, located approximately 15 minutes east of the city centre. Visitors can take bus routes 50 or 59 from the airport directly to the city centre. Taxis and rideshare options are also readily available. When travelling around the city, El Paso offers a number of public transport options, such as the metro, buses and streetcars.
The festival encourages visitors to reduce their carbon footprint by walking or taking public transport to the event. The entrance of the event will be located at 300 North Kansas street. Bus route 500 stops directly outside the festival entrance. You can also take the sun metro, stopping at the Oregon/Missouri stop on the red line; or the streetcar stopping at stop 5 at Franklin/Mesa. A number of parking options are also available. There are three parking garages located nearby: Convention Center Parking Garage, Union Plaza Transit Terminal and Mills Parking Garage. A parking lot is also available at 206 S Mesa St. All parking options are $10 per day.
El Paso offers a range of accommodation options throughout the city ranging from hotels to Airbnbs and more. There are two hotels located just outside the festival entrance: De Soto and Hotel Indigo El Paso Downtown. A number of hotels can also be found in the surrounding areas of downtown El Paso as well as throughout the city centre. You can explore all the nearby accommodation options below.
The city of El Paso offers a number of popular attractions. The El Paso Zoo is one of the city’s favourite destinations, showcasing more than 200 African, American and Asian animal species throughout the 35-acre park.
Located throughout the city centre, you can find a number of popular museums, such as the Wigwam Museum, El Paso Museum of History and the El Paso Holocaust Museum. In the areas surrounding the city centre, you can find a number of parks and nature preserves. The Chamizal National Memorial Park Grounds is a popular area, which features the site commemorating the settlement of the Chamizal boundary dispute.
The Tom Lea Upper Park and Billy Rogers Arroyo are also popular city parks, which feature walking and running trails and scenic views. If you travel further north, you can find Franklin Mountains State Park, the largest urban park in the nation lying within the city limits. Covering more than 24,000 acres, the park offers various outdoor adventures, climbing, hiking, wildlife, camping, scenic views and more.
