Guitarfish Music Festival takes place in Cisco Grove, California. Located right off Highway 80 in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain range, 20 miles west of Truckee and 35 miles east of Auburn. Visitors can travel and stay at the Cisco Grove Campground and RV Park. (48415 Hampshire Rocks Road, Cisco Grove, CA 95728). 

How to get around Cisco Grove

Located in Tahoe National Forest in Northern California, Cisco Grove can be easily accessed from neighbouring cities and states. If you are travelling from the West, take the I-80 E towards Reno and I-80 W towards Sacramento if you are travelling from the east. Take the Cisco Grove Exit and turn onto Cisco Road followed by Hampshire Rocks Road. 

Where to stay for Guitarfish 2019

There are a number of accomodation options for Guitarfish 2019. The Cisco Grove Campground is perfectly picturesque and equipped with showers and restrooms and has plenty of trees and shade! Weekend festival passes include festival style tent camping in the general camping area, where shuttles will transport you to and from the event. Vehicle passes must be purchased additionally. Reserved camp sites with power and water are also available at a first come first serve basis, and include one vehicle pass.

Guitarfish Music Festival has a wide range of unique activities for visitors to enjoy in Cisco Grove. Yak Attack – Live electronica power trio from Portland Oregon have built up quite the buzz throughout the Pacific Northwest. Known for their ‘organic electronica’ sounds and skillful live performances, this group builds up their high energy and uplifting sounds entirely from scratch and is one to look out for! 

Joy & Madness – Soul and Funk group from Sacramento Joy & Madness have been rocking the West Coast since its inception. Bringing a modern classic pop sensibility to a new age of funk and soul, this group will leave you inspired and full of joy!

All Good Funk Alliance – The pioneers of the Nu-Funk and mid-tempo sounds have gained massive respect across the music industry for the originality. Tahoe DJ group All Good Funk Alliance will have you rocking the dance floor in between live performances.

Sunrise/Sunset Yoga – There are a number of yoga classes available daily from sunrise to sunset. Hosted by world class instructors such as Alan Siegal and Third Dreamer, there are so many opportunities to rest and tap into new sources of energy. We recommend taking a class during the sunrise or sunset for the ultimate yoga experience! 

Random Technical Challenges – A number of random acts of mindfulness are on offer, from pop up photo booths to flow classes and more.
