Offering 180 degree views of the stunning Sri Lankan hillside country, waterfalls, tea plantations and villages, the train trip offers you a great way to experience Sri Lanka few others can compete with.
Looking for something more relaxed? The beach town of Mirissa will provide you with some of the beach experiences you can hope to get in the country. Apart from just getting your chill on at the beach, you can also go surfing off the point or grab some snorkel gear and head into the water to catch a glimpse of the aquatic life.
Found on the southern end of the island, the Uda Walwa National Park offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the wildlife of the South Sea, which includes buffalo, elephants, crocodiles, eagles, hawks, and if you are someone that can bank on your luck, a leopard or two.
