Whether you’re looking for a summer, have a couple of extra days to spare during your Camp Bisco adventure or planning the ultimate winter escape, there won’t be a dull moment at the Montage Mountain Resorts.
During the peak of summer, this place is the best way to beat the heat in the heart of Pennsylvania. The waterpark features all your favourite aquatic attractions, from the wave pool to a lazy river, countless waterslides and more!
Daily rates start at $24.99 for visitors under 48” and $29.99 for visitors over 48”. Children under 2 can enter for free. You can also purchase a season membership for $99; which offers perks such as 10% off cabana rentals, birthday parties, guest entries and the montage mountain cafeteria; as well as a 20% off food coupon and more.
If you’re up for the extra adrenaline, make sure to take a ride on Montage’s ZipRider and fly down the mountain at fifty miles per hour! Ride the ski lift to the very top of Montage Mountain where you can climb a 5 storey tower to one of the highest points of Pennsylvania! The Zip Line extends 2,860 feet long and riders will fly directly above the water park.
Single rides are only $10 with waterpark admission or a season membership, or $15.99 for the ride alone.
For a more relaxing getaway or some added privacy, you can rent one of Montage Mountain’s twelve private cabanas. Conveniently located by the wave pool and lazy river, each private cabana comes with lounge chairs for up to six guests, complimentary bottled water and a fresh fruit tray. Each cabana is also fully serviced by the Tiki Deck Bar & Grill and you can order anything off the menu to the Cabana.
Rental rates start at $99 per day from Monday to Friday and $129 on Weekends. Reduced rates are available during twilight (after 2 pm).
The adventure doesn’t have to stop when the summer ends; Scranton offers year-round action! Home to the county’s premier winter ski and snowboard attraction, Montage Mountain offers one of the best and most diverse terrains in Pennsylvania. Here, you can find 26 trails and 1000 vertical feet with picturesque views. Perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, Montage Mountain transforms into the ultimate winter adventure for the whole family!
Montage Mountain features a wide range of special events taking place weekly, as well as special one-off evenings. During the summer, you can enjoy Net N’ Wild Wednesdays, a weekly event presented by NET Credit Union; featuring EJ the DJ, games, fun zones and more. There are also a number of Adult Swim Nights; adult only events where swimming is optional but drinks are required! Kids also get their own swim night, where admission is only $10 and parents get in free with a paid child admission (one parent per admission).
Other special events include the Black Diamond Running Series, featuring the Ironhorse 8K race; and the Wings at the Waterpark chicken wing competition!

You can find Montage Mountain Resorts at 1000 Montage Mountain Rd, Scranton PA, 18507. The resort is easily accessible by car, via the I-81, I-476, I-380 and I-84; and is only a two-hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia and one hour from Allentown and Binghamton.
There are also a number of buses that operate throughout the week from major cities directly to Scranton.
