Whether you possess a campervan or not, there is something for all at “Vantastival” one of Ireland’s quirkiest local music festivals held every June Bank Holiday Weekend.

As the name suggests you are welcome to bring along your campervan and enjoy the pilgrimage of magnificent Kombi vans, or there are dedicated tent camping sites that enables you to put down roots for the weekend, so not a thing will be missed!

Enjoy the finest loudest rock acts from Ireland on the Firestone Stage and intimate acoustic acts on the Glasshouse Stage, as well as comedy acts on the Crows Nest Stage, keeping the crowds entertained all weekend long.

Things to do at Vantastival Festival

Get your hands busy with Kombucha and Tree Lore workshops, chef up in the “Campervan Cook-off”, take part in Laughter Yoga, sing at open mic, watch out for the Wolfpack Circus, participate in “Celtic Adventures” sumo races, archery, axe throwing, roll in water zorbs and even undertake an obstacle course.

When stepping inside a 1960’s caravan transformed into an 18th century stagecoach, you may find yourself in a choose your own adventure called “The Improbable End of Owly”. Owly is a half-man half-owl aristocrat who is a stereotype of the cruel, old fashioned, landed gentry.   Steer Owly through his last day on earth in a quirky, fun and immersive audio-visual experience, with lighting and smoke effects.

As well as self-catering options for campers, there’s an array of food truck gourmet foods, they have stalls selling clothes, arts and crafts, jams and chutneys, jewelry, campervan accessories and sheepskins.

Foods on offer include South Korean Barbeque, Canada’s “Lala Poutine”, Africa food, Donuts, Coffee, Prosecco, craft beer, and even Fish and Chips from Dublin.

Where to View Vantastival 

It’s line up is as diverse as the activities on offer, taking place at Beaulieu House, 45mins drive from Dublin, the green lush grounds of the estate invites exploring around the summer woodlands and flower gardens, the friendly vibes ensure a fantastic time is had by all.

It’s one of the only festivals in Ireland that has a “bring your own booze” policy, ensuring it’s an affordable and easy-going festival weekend away.
