Each year, over 180,000 people from more than 75 nations unite in Belgium for the biggest electronic music event in the world. Tomorrowland has grown from a single day event to one of the most well known music festivals in history. Combining one of the biggest and most diverse line ups in the world with elements of pure magic, this event is without a doubt the most anticipated festival each year. Featuring over 60 stage hosts across 17 different stages, every type of genre and sub genre of electronic music can be found at this event.
‘Live Today, Love Tomorrow, Unite Forever’
One of the pioneers of electronic dance music, David Guetta, has attended every single edition of Tomorrowland since it’s origin in 2005 and is anticipated to continue performing on the spectacular main stage. In total, over 1000 local and international artists will perform at the record breaking two weekend event.
Tomorrowland takes place at the recreation park in Boom, Belgium (Provinciaal Recreatiedomein De Schorre, Boom, Belgium).
Boom is easily accessible by car as well as multiple routes of public transport. Global Journey packages provide transport to and from Brussels airport, Brussels central station or directly from the origin city, by bus, to the campground. Hotel packages also include shuttle passes that transport ravers directly from hotels in the city centre to and from the event each day.
Official parking vouchers can be purchased directly from Tomorrowland and nearby parking may become available, however, driving to the event is not recommended.
The city of Boom and the recreation park can be easily accessed by local buses from both Brussels and Antwerp as well as from the nearby train station. The quickest and easiest method of transportation is taxi or ride share options such as Uber, but these may incur extra fees and higher rates during the busy period.
Tomorrowland offers one of the most impressive range of festival accommodation options in the world. Camping varies from BYO tent to fully equipped cabanas and even a private mansion! Depending on the level of accommodation, campsites very from a five to 30 minute walk to the festival entrance.
Many Airbnb options are available in the town of Boom, with friendly locals welcoming visitors to the city each year. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to rent a property on the actual festival grounds!
Countless hostels, hotels and rental properties are available both in Brussels and Antwerp, with easy access to the event via public transport.
If you are camping at the event, Tomorrowland hosts it’s own official opening party in the campground on Thursday night. Only campers will have access to this event. Hotel packages also include invites to an exclusive pre-party in the city centre on Thursday night as well.
If you have the energy throughout the week, be sure to explore the beautiful town of Brussels. Attractions such as Mannekin Pis, Grand Place and The Atomium are popular destinations and must see photo opportunities! No trip to Belgium is complete without a trip to the waffle shop. Be sure to explore the streets of the city centre and try the freshly prepared desserts.
The next edition of Tomorrowland will take place over two weekends in July, 2019.
Weekend One: July 19-21, 2019
Weekend Two: July 26-28, 2019
