What do you get when you mix epic week-long boat parties, jaw-dropping tropical destinations, bottomless cocktails, some of the best musicians on earth, and luxurious cruise ships? The Rock Boat music festival, of course!
The boat was conceptualized in 2001 by Florida rock band Sister Hazel, and a travel company from Georgia called Sixthman. The first-ever event was held on the stunning cruise ship Carnival Jubilee, attended by around 400 fans as they sailed from Florida to Mexico. Today, it’s one of the most highly anticipated annual music festivals for adults with discerning taste in music, travel, and art.
Tonic, Collective Soul, Vertical Horizon, Barenaked Ladies, Better Than Ezra, and other big musicians have performed for the event in the past. For the 2020 event, no less than NEEDTOBREATHE, Tonic, Gaelic Storm, Red Wanting Blue, Melodime, and more will be playing their hearts out for you.
Festival goers will also get to enjoy all the amazing amenities onboard the cruise ship: think hot tubs, swimming pools, a casino, fitness center and spa, sports court, and more. The organizers have also curated fun day and night activities for non-stop entertainment at sea and on the beach.
Rock Boat will be the best decision you’re going to make this year.
The upcoming cruise on the Norwegian Pearl will be taking you to Harvest Caye, Belize and Roatan and Honduras.
On the cruise ship, you’ll have everything you need. The event organizers have thought of everything including shore excursions, so there’s no need to worry about getting around.
Getting to and from the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airport and other sights in the city, there are trains, rental cars, taxis, and buses for hassle-free transportation.
Festival goers can choose from a range of well-appointed staterooms aboard the Norwegian Pearl. These include the Interior Staterooms, Oceanview Porthole Window, Obstructed Oceanview, Ocean View Picture Window, Balcony, Mini-Suite, Romance Suite, Penthouse Suite, 2-Bedroom Family Penthouse Suite, and Owner’s Suite.
