Summer Stadium Festival is an annual festival that takes place in the city of Marseille, France. This year, the festival will return to Marseille for an epic ‘Galaxie Edition’, with the mission to burst on the sounds of the best DJ’s in the world and enjoy the cosmic animations that will take place throughout the event. The festival will welcome more than 30,000 to the exceptional one-night show.

This summer, the festival will welcome a range of local and global artists from a range of genres. Timmy Trumpet will headline the festival, alongside special guest Vini Vici. Feder, Jax Jones, Ofenbach, Kid Noise, Maurice West and Damien N-Drix will also perform at the event.
Summer Stadium Festival takes place at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, France. You can find the event at 3 Boulevard Michelet, 13008 Marseille, France.
The nearest major airport is Marseille Provence Airport, located approximately 20 minutes northeast of the city centre. Direct shuttle services via ‘Ouibus’ are available to transfer visitors between the airport and city centre; with a travel time of around 25 minutes. Car rental options are available throughout the airport; however, a car is not required to get around Marseille and can become quite inconvenient and expensive.
Marseille has two main metro lines, two tram lines and an extensive bus service that operates throughout the city. You can purchase tickets for the bus, metro or tram at kiosks at the metro stations, tram stops and on buses; with single trips starting at 1.70 euros. There are also more than 100 bike share stations that can be found across the city as well as along the coast. The first 30 minutes of bike rental is free and each hour after that is 1 euro. You can pick up and drop off these bikes at any station.
When travelling to the festival, you can take bus routes 22, 22S, 521 or B1 to ‘Michelet Huveaune’, which stops right outside the venue. You can also take the metro to Rond-Point du Prado, which is a 4-minute walk from the festival entrance.
The city of Marseille offers a wide variety of accommodation options ranging from hostels to hotels and Airbnb’s. You can find a number of hotel options within the vicinity of the festival grounds. Nearby hotels include Hotel B&B Prado Velodrome, AC Hotel by Marriott Marseille Prado Velodrome man Hotel Raphael Prado; all located within a 10-minute walk of the venue.
The city of Marseille offers a range of things to see and do. The Old Port of Marseille lines the yacht marina along the waterfront and features a variety of stylish hotels, popular waterfront cafes and a range of seafood restaurants serving fresh seafood. Nearby, you can also find Les Petits Trains de Marseille, a mini train and popular tourist attraction that travels around the local city area.
Another popular attraction is the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde; a landmark basilica located at the city’s highest point, offering panoramic views of Marseille. Other popular attractions include Châtea d’ld, a 16th-century island castle and former prison and Cathedrale La Major, an 18th-century lavishly decorated cathedral. You can also find a number of popular national parks and gardens throughout the city, including Parc Borely, Palais Longchamp and Parc national des Calanques.
