Summer Sessions will be taking place at Bellahouston Park. A variety of standard and VIP ticket packages are available. Please keep in mind that guests under the age of 5 will be allowed entry. Attendees below 16 years of age should be accompanied by adults aged 21 and up, with a minimum of 1 adult for every 4 persons below 16.
The most efficient way to get around during the festival is to avail of the event’s Happy Bus services, the official travel partner, which will be shuttling guests with cosy coach travel to and from all over Scotland. Other convenient alternatives would be taking taxis, the Glasgow City Centre bus and the train via the Dumbreck Train Station which is a 15-minute walk, or the Ibrox Subway Station, a 30-minute walk.
Guests taking cars can park at the Albion Car Park, although it’s on a first come, first served basis. If you’re taking a bicycle, you can park at the public cycle racks located around Bellahouston Park. The Scotrail service will be operating longer hours to Glasgow Central after Summer Sessions has concluded, to help visitors get back safely.
A huge range of affordable and luxury lodging can be found near the festival site. Many are offering excellent travel deals around the time of Summer Sessions, which will save you even more cash. Check out the map below for the best hotel deals and Airbnb’s in Glasgow.
Scotland’s capital and the biggest city may be known for some of the world’s biggest football teams, but it has a lot to offer on the sightseeing and cultural side. Speaking of culture, if you like visiting museums and galleries, you’ll be spoiled for choice in Glasgow. Tons more places you could get your culture fix include the Pollock Country Park and the Mackintosh House to name a few. Go to Oran Mor and meet the cool kids. This stylishly gritty pub/restaurant has a theater, live music, and a nightclub that’s perfect for knocking back local booze.
The food scene is anything but fussy and pretentious. You’re in luck if you’re vegan or enjoy vegetarian dining, because Glasgow actually played a role in the spread of the vegan movement. Go on a brewery hop around the city – the craft breweries in Scotland are among the best this side of the world. In fact, they’ve been making awesome beer for over 25 years now.
