Over 100 bands rock 4 stages. Previous years acts included mammoth bands KISS, Scorpions, Ghost, Prophets of Rage, Stonesour and Megadeath were just the tip of the iceberg.
The “Pandemonium” VIP area next to the main stage has an elevated bar so no one misses the show. The area includes the opportunity for up close meet and greets with the artists as well as catering fine food, there are bars and rest areas as well as big screens to watch all the concerts.
The Main Stage hosts the biggest bands, no matter which genre. The Ritual Stage is for the metal heads and the Chaos Stage is an indoor tent stage for hardcore and punk rockers. The new Desert Stage features psychedlic rock, post-metal, doom and headbanging riffs.
The “Circle Meal” area offers amazing local food such as grills, artisan pizzas, hamburgers, vegetarian food, flavors of the world such as Mexican tacos, American flavors, Argentine meat, Asian flavors, kebab, and of course sweet dessert treats.

The Resurrection Market area sells specialised record releases, handmade clothing, accessories and exclusive offerings from specialist international brands is sure to keep all revellers happy.
The festival also has a kids friendly section, dedicated to the genres of music the event caters for, junior hardcore, punk and metal fans aged 3-12 can attend a press conference, live interviews, visit the festival facilities, meet people who work backstage, go on stage, enjoy acoustic concerts and meet international artists.
There are some monster acts coming to Resurrection in 2024. Past headliners included Bullet for My Vallentine, Deftones, Sepulture, Opeth, Judas Priest, Rise Against, Sabaton, Avenged Sevenfold, Bring Me The Horizon and Korn.

Viveiro is a town in the province of Lugo, in the northwestern Galician community of Spain. It borders on the Cantabric Sea, to the west of Xove and to the east of O Vicedo. It has a residential population that triples in the summer months with visitors to the popular coastal region.
There are three Galician airports within close proximity to the festival, A Coruna, Santiago De Compostela and Aviles. All airports have shuttle bus services to Viveiro.
There are ferries from several points of Europe, the landing point closest to the festival is Gijón, which is 191km from Viveiro, about two hours away.
The FEVE train service runs between Viveiro and all other major towns along the coastline. Monbus and Arriva Bus services can take passenger between all towns and airports. There are car hire options and ridesharing for festival goers available in the area.
The festival has many camping options and also “festival approved” hotels and hostels in the vicinity of the venue.
Beach Camping is available, offering spectacular views and an unbeatable location with hot water showers and cafeteria close to the site. Family camping and a general campsite area is also available.
Glamping is also on offer for the event, with room for 1, 2 or 4 people, available in the area that include soft mattresses, sleeping bag, toilets, showers, security, all located on the beach.
Kaps Hostel Vigo is right in the center of the town of Vigo, near the train and bus stations and two shopping centres. As well as all the usual mod cons of a hostel, this one includes a massage service, computer room, video games room, launderette and catering service.
The area’s origins are both Celtic and Roman, so there are many old buildings and attractions to see while visiting.
While the urban beach While Covas can be crowded, you only have to walk around the coastal path for a few minutes to get to the quieter Seiramar, and another five minutes or so to reach Sacido, a lovely cove hidden under the cliffs below the Thalasso Cantábrico hotel. These lovely beach walks of golden sand and pale teal waters can be a welcome break for any visitor.
The local market in the Main Square sells fruit, vegetables, flowers, charcuterie and local cheeses. The walled township is easy to explore and filled with convents, churches and other medieval monuments.
Regal Cerámica is a thematic centre, museum, shop and garden, containing many exhibits that are showcased all year round.
