Rave On Snow is back in Saalbach for it’s 27th Anniversary

Rave On Snow 2020 has been canceled. See you in 2021!

Most people know what inexorably rolls here for a party-avalanche on them. Those who have never had the pleasure are hereby warned. Three days and nights, almost completely deprived of sleep, it is announced on 14 Floors: full throttle. No escape. As well as if all Ortens and anytime a grandiose DJ Set runs.

Fancy dress is encouraged and guarantees more fun. Joking aside, wearing layers will keep you warm during the day and night.

Things to do in Saalbach

Apart from skiing and snowboarding in the popular Alps, there also other things to do in the area.

1. Biking trails in Zwolferkogelbahn, Schattberg X-press and Bike Circus Saalbach are available.
2. Hike along the Baumzipfelweg and Reiterkogelbahn trails.
3. Visit the Der Talschluss wildlife areas.
4. Enjoy Schnitza’s Holzpark. You can go on a zipline adventure in the Hochseilpark. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride in the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley or enjoy the waters of the Teufelswasser (Devil’s Water).

How to get there

From Salzburg, you can jump on a train or bus going to Zell am See. From there, there are buses going to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm resort.

Where to stay in Saalbach

Those who would like to join the festival can stay in the resort. There are various options available from luxury alpine resorts, lodges, hotels and apartments.

Alpinresort Sport and Spa offers a pool, sauna and a hot tub while Hotel Glemmtalerhof has a steam room and sauna. These are just some of the perfect places to relax after a day in the snow or too many parties.

If you are looking for self-catering, Avenida Mountain Lodges Saalbach by Alpin Rentals and Appartements Der Fuchsbau are a great option. The flats are equipped with a kitchen and seating area so you can opt to prepare your own meals.
