Qstock Festival 2019: 60 Acts Over Two Days

Qstock Festival is an annual two-day event that takes place on the last weekend of July in the regions of Kuusisaari and Raat Island in Oulu, Finland. The festival annually welcomes people of all ages to enjoy live music from more than 60 domestic and international performers across six stages.

This year’s edition of Qstock Festival will welcome a number of popular headlining acts, as well as a range of local talent. The Offspring, Ville Valo & Agents and children of Bodom will headline day one of the event. Day two will see Thirty Seconds to Mars and Airbourne close out the event. Other popular acts include Don Huonot, Sanni, JVG, Teflon Brothers and more.

How to get around Oulu

Located in central Finland, the city of Oulu can be accessed via plane from most major surrounding cities. The nearest airport is Oulu Airport, a single-terminal airport operating local and regional flights. Visitors can take bus routes 8 or 9 directly into the city centre.

The city of Oulu is quite small and everything can be reached on foot. Public buses are also available, with frequent stops located throughout the city centre. The main train station is also located just outside the city centre and offers regional trains to neighbouring cities. Located just 1km from the city centre, the quickest and easiest way to get to the festival is on foot.

You can also find a range of museums such as the Pohjoinen Valokuvakeskus and Northern Ostrobothnia Museum. Just outside the city centre, you can also find the popular Vauhtipuisto Amusement Park.
