Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon Event Schedule

The program of events for the Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon begins on September 16 at the Memorial Park of Manitou Springs. The feeling of victory is already in the air, as everyone joins in on the fun with beer gardens, food trucks, live music, and activities for all ages. Also at Memorial park runners will be joining the Elite Athlete Press Conference as well as the Kiwanis Club Spaghetti Dinner.

The race begins on September 17 at the Memorial Park Start Line and ends at the Soda Springs Park, where award presentations and post-race celebrations take place as well.

Spectators can cheer family and friends on at a few locations: 600 Manitou Avenue to see them off, and Manitou Avenue to see the finish of the race. You can also watch the Ascent by driving the toll road headed for Devil’s Playground, located around 3 miles away from the summit. Shuttle vans will be available to take spectators over to the summit conveniently.
