Paradigm 2019: Are you ready for another journey?

Paradigm is an annual electronic music festival that takes place in Groningen, Netherlands. Originating in 2011, Paradigm Festival has grown to become one of the most versatile and innovative music festivals in the country. Priding themselves on a unique lineup each year, this festival focuses on artistic integrity over mainstream visibility. Paradigm stands for unity and togetherness and aims to share this inclusion with anyone who is willing to partake.

Paradigm Lineup 2019

The 9th annual edition of Paradigm will welcome a wide range of musical talent and live acts. The festival will showcase the likes of Francesco Del Garda, Ferro, Inga Mauer, Reeko, The Ghost, Nick Curly Kate Miller, The DJ Producer and more. There will also be exclusive live performances from the British Murder Boys, Xosar, Cleric, The Horrorist and more. Speedy J will also perform an exclusive 5-hour set.

How to get around Groningen

Located in northern Holland, the nearest major airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport; located just under two hours from Groningen. The city can be easily reached by both car and public transport. The easiest way to get around is via intercity trains, which operate throughout the entire country and connect all major cities. If you are driving to the festival, parking can be found at Johan van Zwedenlaan, Groningen. You can also reach the event by bus, travelling on Line 8 until you reach the bus stop ‘Atoomweg’.

Paradigm offers an exclusive campground for visitors, located just a short walk from the stages. The campgrounds are fully equipped with sanitary facilities and parking is available on site. You can also camp with a camper or trailer, bring your own camping supplies or purchase a pre-setup Kartent. Camping tickets and tent reservations can be made online in advance through the festival.

Things to do in Groningen

The city of Groningen offers a wide range of activities and attractions. One of the most popular attractions is Martinitoren, a landmark gothic church dating back to the 12th-century; featuring a tower offering panoramic views. Nearby, you can also find the popular Groninger Museum, a futuristic museum showcasing contemporary art, fashion, design, local history and more. Other popular historical attractions include Martinikerk, a landmark church dating back to 800 A.D., and Family Park Nienoord, a historic Chateau.

You can also find a number of popular outdoor areas, such as Haren Hortus Botanicus; a long-running botanical garden with more than 20 hectares of themed areas.
