Oktoberfest 2019 the undisputed best beer festival in the world!

Oktoberfest 2019 is the largest beer festival on the planet and takes place in Munich or München, Germany on Saturday September 21 until Sunday October 6, 2019.

How to get to Oktoberfest 2019

By air – fly to Munich International Airport. Then the easiest way is to take the S-Bahn train line from the airport to Central Station ‘Hauptbahnhof’.

By Train – From Hauptbahnof you can take the underground either subway lines U4 and U5 only 1 stop which will take you to Theresienwiese. Then follow the mob of people leaving the station dressed in Lederhosen and Dirndls you won’t be able to miss it.

On foot – Leave the train station at Take the Bayerstraße exit from Central Station ‘Hauptbahnhof’ and follow this street for 300 meters. Then take a left at Hermann-Lingg-Straße and walk on for another 400 meters which will take you to the festival entrance. It’s about a 10 minute walk.

In fact, Munich has a great selection of thrilling things to do that will keep you busy throughout your visit. Head to the Eisbach for a surf, go mountain biking or even wall climbing in and around Munich.

Daily closing hour: 11:30pm
The “Käfer Wiesn-Schänke” and the “Weinzelt” are open until 1:00am. Last call is at 12:15am.
