Moe Down 2019: New York’s Sensational Alt Rock Music Festival

Trust a jam band to know precisely how to deliver a jam band music festival… peppered with some good old alternative rock. Moe Down, one of the longest running music festivals in New York City, was created by none other than moe., a local four-piece jam band. It started out in 2000 as a small festival headlined by moe. and featured a hodgepodge of other bands, but today it’s an event renowned for providing fans a chance to spend time with their favorite bands, camping in gorgeous scenery, and a reason to rock it out all weekend long.

The formula for success is simple, really: attendees are spoiled with three days of moe. performances, which are joined by a number of other talented alternative acts in a stunning outdoor setting in the Big Apple. Several stages will be dropping beats throughout the festival, and attendees can chill out at the several camping zones in between all that rocking. Moe. is the highlight of the festival, and the main reason why many travel across the country (and across the globe) for the event; it’s a gathering for fans who now consider each other family. You’ll get a chance to see band members throughout the weekend, so bring your festival best and a smile – leave your shy self at home because you’re going to make new friends and memories all weekend long at Moe Down.

The festival will be rocking the Snow Ridge Ski Resort in Turin, New York. General admission and VIP packages are available, and separate passes for attendees taking an RV.

How to get around New York

The best way to get to Turin from the city is by taking a private car or a cab. New York’s diverse range of public transportation options makes getting around simple: from renting cars to taking public buses, the train station, taxis, and Ubers, transport is abundant and painless.
