Midnight Mafia 2019: Kings Of The Desert

Midnight Mafia is one of many world-class events founded by Harder Styles United (HSU). The Sydney based festival has grown to become the biggest indoor Hardstyle event in the Southern Hemisphere, annually drawing in International crowds and the biggest and best names in the scene. Known for its world-class lineup, the event is also renowned for its impressive show elements; featuring mind-blowing laser and light shows, pyrotechnics and extravagant stage designs.

“This year’s concert event will feature 10 international artists of which are 5 live acts!”

Each year, Midnight Mafia is known for its world-class lineup, where artists fill particular roles in the ‘mafia’. The role of ‘The Enforcer’ will be filled by Angerfist, who will be playing his first ever solo set at an HSU event this year. D-Sturb will be known as this year’s ‘Bodyguard’, with a world exclusive of his live act ‘Level 4’ for his first-ever performance at an HSU event. After almost two years, ‘The Godfather’ Zatox returns to the stage, alongside Atmozfears ‘The Driver’.

Bringing the tempo up is none other than ‘The Wise Guys’ Tweekacore. The role of ‘The Locksmith’ will be filled by Keltek, who will also be making his HSU debut at Midnight Mafia. ‘The Drive-by Squad’ Sub Zero Project are bringing their brand new live show ‘Contagion’ down under, after the highly anticipated release of their latest album. Performing for the very first time at Midnight Mafia is ‘The Gambler’ Coone, who will be playing his first ever live set in Australia; while ‘The Hitman’ Warface will also be coming in hard with an exclusive live act. Finally, ‘The Loan Sharks’ are none other than D-Block & S-te-Fan, who are bringing their crazy new live show ‘Ghost Stories’ down under for an Australian debut.

Where to view Midnight Mafia 2019

Midnight Mafia is held at Sydney Showground, in Olympic Park, Sydney. You can find the event at 1 Showground Rd, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127. 

How to get around Sydney

Getting around Sydney is easy and affordable thanks to the frequent and convenient NSW transport system, which includes buses, trains, light rail and ferries. Upon arrival in Sydney, direct trains, as well as a number of bus options, operate throughout the Domestic and International Airports; making it easy to travel to and from the city centre. 

There are a number of ways to travel to and from the event. The nearest train station is Olympic Park Station, which is located directly next to Sydney Showground; and travels directly to Lidcombe Station which connects to most suburban areas. Additional and frequent train services run during events and also connect travellers to Central Station as well. A number of local bus routes also pass through the Olympic Park and Homebush area but do not stop directly at the venue. If you are driving to the event, Olympic Park features a number of car parks which offer $25 flat rate parking for special events. 

Where to stay for Midnight Mafia 2019

There are a number of accommodation options available for visitors attending this event. The festival is located approximately 30 minutes from the city centre, with frequent public transport options available to travel to and from the Sydney CBD. If you are travelling to Sydney, it is recommended to stay in the CBD as it offers easy access to a number of attractions; as well as dining and nightlife options. Sydney is home to countless backpacker hostels, including one of the best hostels in the world; as well as luxury hotels, waterfront apartments, Airbnbs and more. 

If you want to stay close to the event, Olympic Park is home to a number of affordable, nearby options. Things to do in Sydney

D-Block & S-te-Fan – Showcasing their brand new live act ‘Ghost Stories’ for the first time in Australia, Dutch duo D-Block & S-te-Fan are heading back down under. Known for their eerie themed tracks, Ghost Stories offers a brand new live production; featuring a new concept, music and even live vocals from Evelyn Bakker, the sister of ‘D-Block’. This live show will only be showcased at the biggest events in the world a couple of times this year; so make sure to catch it while you can.

Sub Zero Project – Following the release of their brand new album ‘The Contagion’, Sub Zero Project have launched their brand new live act with the same name. Showcasing their brand new sound, the Dutch duo plan to ‘infect’ the world with The Contagion. 

Tweekacore – Norwegian duo Da Tweekaz are back with their special happy hardcore act Tweekacore. Bringing the tempo up to 170, these guys are easily one of the most exciting and entertaining acts at any event; and will have you singing along throughout the entire show!
