Made in America, though still young, is a music festival that has garnered recognition for its spectacular artist-curated lineup that features R&B and hip-hop as well as punk and EDM. The two-day event attracts a fun-loving crowd of 50,000 each year, many of whom travel from all parts of the country to experience a diverse lineup of blockbuster acts on Labor Day Weekend. Aside from the terrific music, Made in America also presents an eclectic mix of activities and experiences within the venue. These include the Abercrombie & Fitch Lounge, where you get to shop for festival merch, recharge in a cozy space, and even get your haircut at a barbershop.
Custom cocktails will be made by none other than D’Usse available at full-service and specialty bars throughout the venue. A Ciroc Cocktail Lounge will be on site as well, offering a range of specialty libations plus a photo booth and charging stations. In other words, you’ll be drinking like Jay-Z! But it isn’t ALL about good times – Made in America is known for being a festival with a heart. Philanthropy has been an integral element of the event since day 1.

It may not be the biggest music festival in the country, but this one is all about the quality, not the quantity, evident in its lineup. Past editions have featured Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Jamie XX, Chance The Rapper, and many more. Stay tuned for the 2019 lineup!

Philadelphia’s diverse neighborhoods have something for everyone. Old City is best for tourists, especially if it’s your first time visiting the city. Old City is home to the Independence National Park, and many of the city’s most popular historic sites, plus excellent shopping, entertainment, dining, and nightlife. Society Hill also has many historical attractions but in a more laid-back, residential area. Other neighborhoods worth checking out for accommodations include Center City, Washington Square West, and The Parkway.

It would be a crime to visit Philly and not have one of their world-famous cheesesteaks. Pay a visit to the oldest farmers’ market in America, the Reading Terminal Market, where you’ll find dozens of food vendors serving up tasty treats of all kinds. Philadelphia’s nightlife is awesome, too. There’s tons of bars to choose from after dark from elegant lounges, rooftop watering holes, and live band venues throughout the city.
