Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival 2019 Malkerns Valley SwazilandThe Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival returns to the House on Fires lawns in Swaziland this August. After a successful first edition, the African-vintage styled event is back, celebrating the local, the wholesome, the creative and the delicious. Focusing on the local, regional and distinctly African tastes, styles and sounds, this festival is unlike any event in the region.

Showcasing the unique and diverse tastes of Southern Africa, the festival will host top chefs, wineries, breweries, eateries and more. An amazing lineup of music will also feature throughout the event.
Whilst the festival is a one-day event, visitors can stay for a full exciting Eswatini weekend experience filled with activities. Activities include Ngwenya Glass Blowing, visiting the Mantenga Cultural Village, Swazi Candles, Tree Top Canopy Tours and more. Luku Food and Lifestyle Festival takes place on the lawns of the House on Fire Sculpture Garden in Malkerns Valley.
The main airport in Swaziland is King Mswati III International Airport. Car rental options are available in the terminal and offer the easiest way to get around. Car rental services are also available throughout the area and city of Mbabane. While most roads are good quality, it is recommended to rent four-wheel drives, in particular for rural roads where roads are often made up of dirt and gravel.
‘Kombi’ taxis are also available throughout Swaziland in the form of direct route minibuses and passengers can hop directly on and off. Private taxi companies such as Mbabane Taxis and SD Tel Taxis are also available. Buses are also available and travel to most towns in Swaziland.
