Snoop Dogg, Incubus and Sublime With Rome have headlined past years. Other popular acts including Smash Mouth, Black Pistol Fire and Jesse Roper have also shared the stage on Canada Day Long Weekend.

Laketown Shakedown takes place at Laketown Ranch in Cowichan Valley, British Columbia. You can find the event at 8811 Youbou Rd, Lake Cowichan, British Columbia V0R 2G1.
The nearest Airport is Victoria International Airport, located just over two hours from Cowichan Valley. Car rental options are available at the airport, making it easy to get to and around the area.
Visitors driving from the Victoria ferries or airport can travel south on Highway 17 and west along Highway 18 towards Lake Cowichan. Festival shuttles will also be available from nearby major cities.
Camping is available at Laketown Ranch and is open to those with both a valid festival wristband and camping wristband. A number of hotel options can also be found nearby, and are just a short drive away. Popular nearby hotels include Lake Cowichan Lodge, Riverside Inn and Crown House Bed & Breakfast.

The regional district of Cowichan Valley offers a range of popular outdoor areas and attractions. One of the most popular destinations is Cowichan River Provincial Park; a 750-hectare area with a river, camping spots, parks and hiking trails. The nearby Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park also features camping areas as well as a lake and rainforest.
Cowichan Valley is also home to a number of vineyards and wineries, featuring tastings, tours and more. Popular vineyards include the Averill Creek Vineyard, Blue Grouse Estate Winery and the Unsworth Vineyards. Along the coast, you can also find a number of popular islands such as Thetis Island and Penelakut Island.
